December 8th, 2005 (09:06 am)

So, it's almost Christmas, which means I'm pretty much bouncing off the walls every day. :-) Came home last night around 11 after going Christmas shopping with my dad and Sam (for my mom) to find presents under the tree! My mom started wrapping! Yay! I'm pretty much done my Christmas shopping, I have about two or three people to buy for, and then I have to actually finish my gifts for my mom's side. And do all my wrapping.

The worst part of this month... Cleaning my room... I desperately need shelves in my room... Sam has plenty of shelf space downstairs, but my beaureau and book cases are loaded, and I have about four boxes of stuff to find spots for. There's a narrow path to the bed, and that's it right now... Oh well. I'm gonna work on that tonight, after I bring home my (semi-) new set of encyclopedias! Ok, I know I'm a dork, but I have ALWAYS wanted a set of encyclopedias... It's a complete 1998 World Book set, Thank You Jesse Smith Library!!!! (And especially Mrs. Rivet for telling me about it!) So, like I said, semi-new.

My car is out of the garage... It broke. :-( My bank account is gonna be drained... I'm paying for half the repairs, because my dad asked for a whole bunch of extra things to be done. So while it's not too too much for the repairs, I'm also spending a little over $1000 on a new camera!!! Kodak P880, plus the starter kit, plus two lenses (which require a lens adaptor), plus a zoom flash, plus batteries... :-) I can't wait!

Well, I should be doing math hw, but it isn't due for a while... Technically not until the final exam, but I should work on a bunch of the problems so that I have a clue as to what will be on the test today. Oh well, I'll get it done.

Oh, and I can't wait until Christmas night to see my Grandparents! That'll be so great! Especially the part where we exchange gifts.... :-) :-) :-)

It was supposed to rain for 40 days and 40 nights... It was condensed into 9

October 15th, 2005 (10:17 pm)

The water levels are ridiculous... I guess that's what over 9 days of rain will do to rivers.

I saw the sun today. It's a miracle.

Only now it's raining again. Sigh. Big yuck.

College

October 3rd, 2005 (09:28 am)

So, yeah.

It's almost midterms. Classes are going well. I'm passing everything as far as I know. I should be studying for a test, but I'm not. History is English last year, and it's kinda funny. The hardest part about Mondays and Wednesdays is staying awake during class. I love dancing... about 7 hours a week. It's awesome: Ballet 110, Krylo's, and ballroom. :-) Other than that, nothing new.

Oh, and I need a new camera. Let me know, please, if you see any sales... My camera is wearing out BIG TIME... I think I used it too much.

Quiz

August 13th, 2005 (06:16 pm)
current song: The Monkees while on my new laptop!

So, yeah... I don't usually take these quizes, or if I do then I don't post them. But this one is actually right... :-)

You Are an Old Soul

You are an experience soul who appreciates tradition.
Mellow and wise, you like to be with others but also to be alone.
Down to earth, you are sensible and impatient.
A creature of habit, it takes you a while to warm up to new people.

You hate injustice, and you're very protective of family and friends
A bit demanding, you expect proper behavior from others.
Extremely independent you don't mind living or being alone.
But when you find love, you tend to want marriage right away.

Souls you are most compatible with: Warrior Soul and Visionary Soul

Pictures

July 25th, 2005 (11:13 pm)

England and Scotland...
It took 3 months (almost to the day)
It took 4 photo albums
And it took a lot of money...
But...

ALL OF MY ENGLAND AND SCOTLAND PICTURES ARE DEVELOPED!!!!!!!! I've developed 605 pictures, and there's probably another 100 that I didn't develop but are sitting on my computer.

605... I can't beleive I could afford to develop that many pictures... no wonder I'm broke!

Ok, just had write about that. It was an awesome trip, and I'm so happy to have hundreds of awesome pictures from it.

I can-can and you can-can... so give my regards to broadway

June 19th, 2005 (06:13 am)

Yeah... Dance entry!
Recital was this week. Went wicked awesome last night.
My girls did AWESOME. They did great. Everyone smiled. They all had fun. They all remembered to curtsy (Karina forgot one of the other nights.... she didn't even stand). And to top off the good news... NO FIGHTS!!!!!! Yes, my girls can fight like cats, and last night they did. Tonight, nothing went wrong. They were civil to eachother, even really nice. I'd swear, they're like Drew Barrymore's character in 50 First Dates... they can't remember what happened the night before the next day.
Can-can. No major collisions, and no minor ones involving me. Charlie actually said we did a good job. No 'you should have pointed your toes more, gotten those legs up, and SMILED!' Tonight, he actually smiled, and said good job. We musn't have been too shabby. :-D
Anyway, then it was time for the circus parade. That went well. Lots of Awwws for the little kids. Apparently one of the girls in the group I was with went out backwards. :-)
I changed into my Broadway costume, then went and sat in the audience with Jen and Emmy (Thank your for coming!) When we actually did our dance, we did it right!!! No collisions, no horrible screw-ups like wrong step at the wrong time, or right step at the wrong time, or wrong step right time. Everyone was happy with how it went.
Amber and Beth and Lauren and Hilarie all did totally awesome in their other class/semi-private/private dance. Lauren made her mom cry with the semi-private she and Hilarie did for their moms.
And then it was time for the finale. Got recognized as a demonstrator and a BHS grad. Poor Amy's paper was stuck to someone elses, so she was missed until the end. Other than that it went well.
So, that is the end of dance lessons until September.

I'm glad it went well.
